The Elgin office of Grigor & Young, Solicitors, has been granted corporate accreditation by APIL
The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), a national not-for-profit organisation which campaigns on behalf of injury victims, has awarded Grigor & Young’s Elgin office corporate accreditation with effect from May 2014.
This mark of excellence highlights the firm’s commitment to the highest standards of client care, quality assurance and ongoing staff training.
It follows the recent individual accreditation of Associate solicitor, Marie Morrison, as a Senior Litigator – a development which means that the firm’s Elgin office has two Personal Injury accredited specialists.
Peter Brash of Grigor & Young said: “Marie and I have been members of APIL for many years and have benefited from the in-depth specialist training they provide. I live in Lossiemouth and Marie lives in Macduff.”
“We hope this latest APIL accreditation will convince the people of Moray and surrounding areas that you don’t have to deal with a far-away solicitor if you’ve been injured in an accident and need to make a claim for compensation.”
“You can find the necessary expertise and experience in Elgin and, in many cases, our “local knowledge” will give us a head start over just about anyone else.”
“You can come and see us face-to-face or, if necessary, we can visit you.”
How to find APIL accredited practices in Scotland
Accredited firms of solicitors are entitled to display a special quality mark – “APIL Accredited Practice” – so they are easy for you to recognise if you are searching for legal advice about a possible personal injury claim following an accident.
There are around 50 solicitors in Scotland who are individually accredited by APIL at Senior Litigator or Fellow level and Grigor & Young becomes the sixth firm in Scotland to gain corporate accreditation for at least one of its offices.
The other Scottish firms with APIL corporate-accredited offices are: Balfour + Manson (Aberdeen and Edinburgh), Bonnar Accident Law (Airdrie), Digby Brown (Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and Kirkcaldy), Irwin Mitchell Scotland LLP (Glasgow) and Lawford Kidd (Edinburgh).
