It’s not enough just to get any old level of compensation for a personal injury claim.
You need to maximise the value of your claim because, in most cases, it is “once and for all” and you can’t come back later to ask for more.
In this Moray Claims Podcast episode, we’re concentrating on general principles about recovery of compensation and, in particular, what we mean when we talk about a person getting fair and full compensation for personal injury – and how you go about ensuring that happens. The discussion covers matters such as:
- What Calvin and Hobbes’ encounter with the Tooth Fairy can teach you about the need to have all relevant facts before you make a decision;
- Whether “fair” compensation and “full” compensation are the same thing; and
- Why it’s important to be alive to these issues as soon as possible after your accident – when you’re still deciding whether to claim and, if so, through which solicitor or other agency.
