If you don’t know what your rights are, you can’t do much to enforce them.
In this episode of the Moray Claims podcast, Peter Brash of Moray Claims / Grigor & Young LLP discusses the rights you have if you have been injured in a non-fault road traffic accident.
A UK government study from 2014 found a lack of consumer awareness of the basic rights you have if you’ve been in a RTA that was not your fault and you need to sort out losses such as injuries, vehicle repairs, the cost of an alternative vehicle while your own is being repaired (or replaced), and other miscellaneous expenses.
- Is it up to the insurer who repairs your car?
- Do you have any say in who repairs your car?
- What are the parameters affecting the type of alternative vehicle you can drive while your own one is out of action?
These are all matters considered in this edition of the podcast.
